As dynamic as its products, the Coca-Cola Archives team are responsible for their corporate and brand heritage. They selected Hanzo for its state-of-the art technology: the only solution anywhere capable of archiving Coca-Cola’s websites and social media, which together contain so many web innovations.
The team at Coca-Cola was blown away when Hanzo demonstrated the archive of their websites and social media, complete website content, with Flash media playing, web and Flash links fully browsable, and user-submitted content, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, etc., all working identically to the live web.
The Coca-Cola Company’s 2020 vision for the business enabled them to identify a gap in the preservation of their brand and marketing communications. While paper, film and video, oil paintings and 1,000’s of artefacts of many kinds had been preserved, the company had become increasingly concerned about their web presence. Their need: a web archiving service that could capture and archive their entire brand presence on the web, in its entirety. This means multiple global websites, local brand websites, social media pages, etc., many in different languages, and all in native-format for full playback at any time in the future.
